Bedene İlişkin Yaklaşımlar Üzerine Bir Değerlendirme

Sosyal ve kültürel olarak inşa edilmesi ve toplumdan bağımsız düşünülememesi,bedenin günümüzde en çok tartışılan konulardan biri olmasına neden olmuştur. Beden,sosyal bilimler alanında çok sayıda teorisyen tarafından çeşitli bağlamlarda incelenmiştir.Bu makalede, sosyal teorisyenlerin görüşlerine; “toplumsal inşa alanı olarak beden”,“kültürel inşa ve sosyal kontrol alanı olarak beden” ve “tüketim alanı olarak beden”başlıkları altında ayrıntılı olarak yer verilmiştir.

An Evaluation on the Approaches to the Body

The body, which is constructed socially and culturally, has become a phenomenon that can not be considered independent of society. For this reason, it has been studied in various contexts by various theorists in the field of social sciences. In this article, the views of the various social theorists on the body as a social construction area, body as a cultural construction and social control field and body as a consumptions field is discussed.
