İnsana ait en güçlü ve en güzel duygulardan biri olan aşk, Türk Edebiyatı’nın birçok eserine konu olmuştur. Aşk, Divan Edebiyatı ve Halk Edebiyatı eserlerinde âşıkların kavuşamadığı ölçüde değerli olurken, modern edebiyatla birlikte; iyi, kötü, güzel, çirkin bütün tanımları ile eserlerde kendisine yer bulmuş ve toplumsal hayatta karşımıza çıkan tüm yönleri ile edebiyat içerisinde de değerlendirilmeye başlanmıştır. Aşk sonucu ortaya çıkan en önemli olgu ise evlilik kavramıdır.Birbirine aşk ve sevgi bağıyla bağlı erkek ve kadının, bu sevgi sonucu kalan hayatlarını bir arada geçirme isteği olarak tanımlayabileceğimiz evlilik akdi, karşılıklı sevgi ve iki kişinin de isteğineticesindegerçekleşenyahutgerçekleşmesigerekenbireylemdir.Ancakhem toplumumuzda hem de dünyada birçok evliliğin, her iki kişinin ya dataraflardan birinin rızası olmadan gerçekleştiği görülür. Bazı kişiler ise ailevi, toplumsal ya da sosyo kültürel nedenlerden ötürü sevdikleri kişi ile evlenememektedir. İnceleyeceğimiz Mustafa Çiftci öykülerinde de mecburiyet sonucu gerçekleştirilen evlilikler; “Adem’in Kekliği ve Chopin” ile “Diyeşet”, odak noktasında aşk olmayıp mutsuzlukla sonuçlanan evlilikler; “Gülizar”, “Kasap Kokusu”, “Kara Kedi” ve “Ah Mercimeğim”, mutluluğun yakalandığı evlilikler ise “Çati’ye Kıyamam”, “Şırıl Şırıl”, “Elif, Tina, Tolga” öyküleri vasıtasıyla değerlendirilecek, söz konusu evliliklerin gerçekleştirilme sebepleri ile bireylerin psikolojileri üzerindeki etkilerine değinilecektir.

Love is the one of thestrongest and most beautiful emotions belong to human, It has been the subject many work of turkish literature. Love,while Divan Literature and Folk Literature are valuable to the extent that lovers cannot meet, along with modern literature; good, bad, beautiful, ugly has have in the works with all aspects and has been begun to be evaluated in literature with all aspects that we encounter in social life.The most important phenomenon that occurs as a result of love is the notion of marriage.Marriage contract, which we can define as the desire of a man and woman who are connected to each other with love and affection, that we can define as their desire to spend their life together as a result of this love, It is an action that must take place as a result of mutual love and the desire of both people.However, it is seen that many marriages occur both without the consent of either persons or one of the person in our society and in the world.Somebody s cannot marry with their love because of family, social or socio-cultural reasons.In the stories of Mustafa Çiftci, which we will examine, the marriages that do not focus on love and marriages that realized for different reasons will be mentioned.In the story of Mustafa Çiftci, which we have examined , themarriage realized as a result of obligation; “Adem’in Kekliği ve Chopin”and “Diyeşet”, the marriages that do not focus on love and result in unhappiness;“Gülizar”, “Kasap Kokusu”,“Kara Kedi”and “Ah Mercimeğim”, the marriages that happiness is caught will be examined through “Çati’ye Kıyamam”, “Şırıl Şırıl”, “Elif, Tina, Tolga”stories.The causes of these marriages and will touch on their effects on the psychology of individuals.
