THE EVALUATION ON THE ESTABLISHMENT OF NUCLEAR ENERGY PLANTS IN TURKEY IN TERMS OF GEOGRAPHY

The properties that the countries have them naturally, the changes that those who live in there make on these properties and the people’s contribution to the country’s values as producing a new one can be categorized as the changing and unchanging factors of The Political Geography. The issue of energy which can be evaluated in the changing factors, the sources which are used for them and the ways to meet them have been the necessary points which require to be focused on carefully on today’s conditions. The energy which is a strategic sector is accepted as a criterion to determine the countries’ development level with the production and consumption amounts which are the quota per capita. Turkey has a position that it is not rich in terms of the energy sources but it is the neighboring one to the countries which are rich in terms of the source. It imports substantially the natural gas from these countries in order to generate the necessary electric energy. It should be explained to the public opinion as it is evaluated as a need to establish A Nuclear Power Plant in order to diversify the energy sources and to have the nuclear information technologies. The properties of Nuclear Power Plants should be explained with the use of communication devices at the top level, its contricutions to Turkey and its aspects which can he perceived as the possible negative ones shouldbe indicated to the public opinion correctly, exactly and perspicuously. It is necessary to state for the society that its requirement is inevitable for the country policies and future, it is in the purpose of peace and the nuclear technology is used widely in many fields such as especially the nuclear medicine and the chemistry industry, in order to generate the energy because it is an information technology. it doesn’t mean that it will not be affected from the disadvantages which can occur over the world as the nuclear plant is not established in Turkey, and it is understood that Turkey’s region is surrounded with the nuclear power plants from the one which has the old technology to the area which is established on the fault line.
