2004 İlköğretim Matematik Öğretimi Programı Doğrultusunda İlköğretim 4. ve 5. Sınıf Öğrencilerinin Öğretmenlerinden Matematik Dersi İçin Beklentileri

Matematik dersinde öğretmenlerin kullandıkları öğretim yöntemleri, sınıf içi ve sınıf dışı davranışları başta olmak üzere daha birçok etken, öğrencilerin matematik dersine yönelik tutumlarını ve beklentilerini etkilemektedir. Bu araştırmanın amacı, yenilenen öğretim programı doğrultusunda ilköğretim 4. ve 5. sınıf öğrencilerinin matematik dersine giren sınıf öğretmenlerinden beklentilerini tespit etmektir. Çalışma, 2005-2006 öğretim yılının bahar döneminde 181 öğrenci üzerinde gerçekleştirilmiştir. Genel tarama modelinde yürütülen araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak, “öğrencilerin matematik dersine giren öğretmenlerinden beklentileri ölçeği” kullanılmıştır. Cronbach Alpha Güvenirlik Katsayı sı .78 dir. Yapılan çalışmanın sonucunda öğrencilerin, matematik dersine giren sınıf öğretmenlerinden ders içi etkinliklere aktif ve sözel yönden katılımları nın desteklenmesi, matematik dersinde okuma ile ilgili çalışmalar yaptırılması ve ilgi çekici gelen problemlerin çözümüne daha fazla zaman harcanması gerektiğine yönelik beklentilerinin yüksek seviyede olduğu tespit edilmiştir.

The Expectation of the Forth and Fifth Grades Primary Students from Their Teachers for Mathematics Lesson in Accordance with 2004 Primary Mathematics Education Programme

Teaching methods that teachers used in Maths, behaviours inside and outside the classroom as being chief ; too many factors affects the students’ attitudes and expectations towarsds Maths. The aim of this study is to establish the expectations of forth and fifth gardes form their Maths teachers in accordance with the renewed teaching programme. This study is carried out with 181 students in spring term in 2004-2005 education year. As data collection tool, “the scale of the expectations of the students form their Maths teachers” is used in tis study carried out in general research model. Cronbach Alpha Realibility (güvenirlik) Coefficiency is 0.78. As a result of this study; it is established that the expectations of the students from their Maths teachers towards the need to support the active and verbal participation in the activities inside the lesson, to do activities on the solutions of the attention taker problems are at a higher level.
