Bazı Uçucu Yağların Patateste (Solanum tuberosum L.) Bitki Aktivatörü Olarak Kullanım Olanaklarının Araştırılması
Bu araştırma, adaçayı (Salvia officinalis L.), kekik (Origanum onites L.) ve rezene (Foeniculum vulgare Miller) uçucu yağlarının patateste yumru verimi ve bazı verim parametreleri üzerine etkilerini belirlemek amacıyla Süleyman Demirel Üniversitesi Ziraat Fakültesi Tarla Bitkileri Bölümünde 2014 yılında yürütülmüştür. Çalışmada Agria çeşidine ait tohumluk yumrular dikimden önce adaçayı, kekik ve rezene uçucu yağlarının farklı konsantrasyonlarında (150, 300, 450 ve 600 ppm) muamele edilmiştir. Araştırmada ocak başına yumru sayısı, ocak verimi, ortalama yumru ağırlığı, pazarlanabilir yumru verimi ve dekara yumru verimi parametreleri incelenmiştir. Araştırmada ele alınan tüm özelliklerde de uçucu yağ uygulamaları, uygulama dozları ve uçucu yağ x doz interaksiyonları istatistiksel olarak önemli bulunmuştur. Araştırmada, tohumluk yumruların farklı dozlarda hazırlanan uçucu yağ solüsyonları ile muamele edilmeleri sonucu patates bitkisinde yumru veriminin önemli ölçüde arttırılabileceği, bununla birlikte bazı uçucu yağların yüksek dozda olumsuz etki gösterebildiği sonucuna varılmıştır.
Investigation of Possible Usage of Some Essential Oils on Potato (Solanum tuberosum L.) as Plant Activator Compounds
The present research was conducted during 2014 in order to determine of sage (Salvia officinalis L.), oregano (Origanum onites L.) and fennel (Foeniculum vulgare Miller) essential oils on potato tuber yield and some yield parameters. Potato tubers were treated before sowing in different concentrations (150, 300, 450 and 600 ppm) sage, oregano and fennel essential oils. Tuber number per plant, tuber yield per hill, average tuber weight, marketable tuber yield and total tuber yield parameters investigated in the study. Essential oil treatments, treatment dosses and treatment x dose interactions were statistically significant for the all parameters examined in the study. It was found that potato tuber yield could be increased with essential oil treatments at different concentrations; however some essential oils have to exhibit adverse effects in high doses.
