BAZI KUR’AN KISSALARININ İLMÎ VE EDEBÎ TAHLİLİ
Hz. Âdem’in yaratılışıyla başlayıp Hz. Muhammed’in doğumundan hemen önce gerçekleşen Fil Vakası’na kadarki geniş bir aralıkta, insanlık tarihine yönelik en sağlam bilgi kaynağı, Kur’an kıssalarıdır. Benzer bir çalışmanın tüm Kur’an kıssalarına uygulanması durumunda örneklik yapması hedeflenmiştir.
THE SCIENTIFIC AND LITERARY ANALYSIS OF SOME OF THE QUR'ANIC STORIES
There are totally 40 different stories in the Qur’an, 27 of which are related with the prophets and 13 are related with other people and communities. The number of the ayah’s in which these stories are related is a bit more than quarter of the total number of ayah’s. Further more, some tells that this proportion is one third or even two third. The most reliable source for information regarding the history of humanity beginning from the prophet Adam till the year of the elephant which is just before the birth of the prophet Muhammad are Quranic stories. The common theme of these stories which have a too much different style of expression compared to regular literary texts is unity (tawheed) and common aim is to give lessons to the audience. There are secondary purposes of the stories such as proving the prophethood of the prophet Muhammad, to encourage good deeds and to avoid bad deeds, to Show that nothing is coincidental in the life and everything happens in accordance with an absolute command, and to relieve pain. The realization of all of these aims depend on anlayzing the stories literally and scholarly, and defining the message given in them in a right way. It is inevitable that there should be scientific and literary subtilities in them as their narrator is the creator of the univese and the languages. In stories, there are both open messages that every reader can pick it out and also implicit messages that can be reached out only in the light of the sciences such as Arabic language, rhetoric, prophetic biography, tafseer, hadith and aqaid (doctrine). Thus, it is necessary for the people of sciences in general and for the interpreters of the Quran in particular to deal with those stories which add up to a huge portion of the Quran with a special focus and to reveal the details of them as much as they can. This study, is an attempt for revealing both the open messages and implicit messages. It is aimed to be a sample for a similar study for all of the Quranic stories.
