ÜTOPYALAR VE 21. YÜZYILDA ÜTOPYACILIK

Ütopyalar, çok uzun bir tarihsel ve kültürel mirasa sahiptir. İnsanların mutlak iyiliğe ve mutluluğa olan özlemleri neticesinde de her dönemde ve her yüzyılda önemli ütopya örneklerinin sahneye çıktığı görülmektedir. Çağımızda hızla artan sorunlar ve adaletsizlikler karşısında insanların bu özlemleri artarak devam etmektedir. Edebi türün önemli örneklerini sergileyen bu ütopik kurgular, sadece edebiyatın değil, sosyoloji, ekonomi siyaset gibi çok farklı disiplinlerin de ilgi alanındadır. Diğer bir deyimle ütopyalar, birbirinden çok farklı yaklaşımlar tarafından çeşitli şekillerde ele alınmıştır. Bu bağlamda, çalışmanın amacı ütopyaların ve ütopyacılığın yirmi birinci yüzyıldaki konumunu ve mevcut durumunu analiz etmektir. Bu çerçevede çalışma iki bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölümde öncelikle ütopya ve ütopyacılığın tarihsel ve kültürel serüveni üzerinde durulmaktadır. İkinci bölümde ise bu tarihsel süreçten süzülerek gelen ve yirmi birinci yüzyılda ütopyaların ve ütopyacılığın mevcut durumu analiz edilmektedir. Çalışmada literatür taraması tekniği kullanılmıştır. Araştırma bu literatürün değerlendirilmesi, analizi, yorumlanması ve betimlenmesine dayanmaktadır.

Utopias and Utopianism in The Twenty-First Century

Utopias have a very long historical and cultural heritage. As a result of human aspirations for absolute good and happiness, there are important examples of utopia in every period and century. These aspirations also continue to increase in the face of rapidly increasing problems and injustices in our age. The utopian fictions that show important examples of the literary genre are not only related to literature, but also to other disciplines such as sociology, politics and economy. In other words, utopias have been dealt with in many ways by very different disciplines. Within this context, the objevtive of the study is to analyze the position and current status of utopias and utopianism in the twenty-first century. This study consists of two parts. In the first part, the historical and cultural adventure of utopia and utopianism is emphasized. In the second part, the current situation of utopias and utopianism in the twenty-first century is analyzed. The literature review method study was used in the study. The study is based on the evaluation, analysis, interpretation,and description of this literature.
