Rize İli Çayeli İlçesinde Kadın Hastalıkları ve Doğum Polikliniğine Başvuran Hastalar Arasında Kontraseptif Yöntem Seçimi

Amaç: Aile planlaması, çiftlerin planladıkları zamanda ve istedikleri sayıda çocuk sahibi olmalarıdır. Çalışmanınyazarı 1. ve 2. basamakta hizmet veren sağlık çalışanlarının kendi bölgelerindeki kontraseptif yöntem seçimi ile il- gili bildirimde bulunmasının toplumsal düzeyde fayda getireceğini düşünmektedir. Bu amaçla planlanan çalışmadailçemizde en yaygın kullanılan kontraseptif yöntemlerin belirlenmesi ve bu yöntemlerden kaynaklanan şikayetlerinsaptaması hedeflendi.Yöntem ve Gereçler: Aralık 2013Ocak 2014 aylarında, İshakoğlu Çayeli Devlet Hastanesi, kadın hastalıkları vedoğum polikliniğine başvuran ilk 1000 hasta çalışmaya dahil edilmiştir. Hastaların yaşları, gebelik ve doğum sayıları,hangi yöntemle korundukları ve eğer varsa bu yöntemden şikayetleri sorgulandı. Verilerin kaydedilmesi ve istatistik- sel analiz için Microsoft Excel programı kullanıldı.Bulgular: Çalışmaya dahil edilen 1000 hastanın 156sı kontrasepsiyon için herhangi bir yöntem kullanmaktay- dı. Kontrasepsiyon yöntemi kullanan 156 hastanın yaş ortalaması 37±2,12 idi. Ortalama gebelik sayısı 2,79±1,34idi. Ortalama doğum sayısı 2.14±0,99 idi. En sık kullanılan 3 yöntem koitus interruptus (%53,21), rahim içi araç(%17,31) ve tubal ligasyon idi (%12,18).Sonuç: Çalışmamız göstermiştir ki Rize ili Çayeli ilçesinde kadın hastalıkları ve doğum polikliniğine başvuran has- talar arasında en yaygın kullanılan aile planlama yöntemi koitus interruptustur.

Choice of Contraceptive Method Among Patients Who Were Admitted To The Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic in Rize / Çayeli

Aim: Introduction: Family planning means deciding how many children to have and when to have them. The authorof this report believes that primary care physicians and specialists working in state hospitals should publish data aboutthe choices of contraceptive method of people living in their city/town. This study is designed to find out the mostcommon contraceptive methods among women living in our area and the complaints caused by these methods.Material and Methods: The medical data of 1000 patients who admitted to the obstetrics and gynecology clinic ofIshakoglu Cayeli State Hospital between December 2013 and January 2014 was retrospectively analyzed. The age,number of pregnancy, number of delivery, contraceptive method that is used, and complaints were recorded. Micro- soft Excel was used for statistics.Results: 156 patients were using any family planning method. The mean age was 37±2.12. The mean number ofpregnancy was 2.79±1.34. The mean number of delivery was 2.14±0.99. Coitus interruptus was the most widely usedmethod (53.21%), followed by intrauterine device (17.31%) and tubal ligation (12.18%).Conclusion: This study showed that coitus interruptus was the most widely used family planning method amongwomen who admitted to the obstetrics and gynecology clinic of Ishakoglu Cayeli State Hospital.
