Okullarda Akran Temelli Uygulamalar

Akran yardımcılığı, çeşitli alanlarda ve değişik yaş gruplarında önleme, müdahale ve soysal destek amaçlı kullanılan, belli bir eğitimden geçmiş profesyonel olmayan kişilerce, toplumda ihtiyacı olan diğer kişilere verilen hizmetlerin genel adıdır. Çeşitli alan ve ortamlarda başarıyla uygulanmakta olan akran temelli uygulamaların neredeyse en yaygın uygulamaları eğitim ortamında gerçekleştirilmektedir. Bu çalışmada okullarda uygulanan akran yardımcılığı uygulaması genel olarak tanıtılacak, ardından akran yardımcılığı uygulama türleri ayrıntılı olarak ele alınacaktır. Bu bağlamda ele alınacak program türleri, akran öğreticiliği (peer tutoring), akran eğiticiliği (peer education), özel arkadaşlık (special friend),, akran danışmanlığı (peer counseling), akran arabuluculuğu (peer mentoring) ve akran destek gruplarıdır (peer support groups).

Coequal Based Applications At Schools

Peer counseling is used in a different areas and situations with different age groups for prevention and social support. This can be implemented with non-professionals who have a short term training. Peer counseling is very popular in different fields and situations, but it is mostly used in educational settings. In this articles, peer counseling practices will introduced with general aspect and than, peer counseling kinds will be examined in detail. In this context, the different type of peer counseling programs will be introduced such as peer tutoring, peer education, secial friend, peer counseling, peer mentoring and peer support groups.
