Yeni Eflâtunculuk gerek İslam felsefesini gerekse Ortaçağ Batı felsefesini derinden etkilemiş önemli bir akımdır. İslam felsefesinin "eklektik" olarak nitelenmesinde Yeni Eflâtunculuk'tan yapılan tercümelerin etkisi görülmektedir. Abrurrahman Bedevî Enneadlar'ın bir kısmının özetlenmiş tercümesi olan Esûlûcyâ (Aristoteles'in Teolojisi) adlı eserin edisyon kritiğini yaparak Yeni Eflâtunculuk konusundaki yetkinliğini ortaya koymuş bir felsefecidir. Bu yazı Bedevî'nin Harîfü'l-fikri'l-Yûnânî adlı eseri içinde kaleme aldığı Yeni Eflâtunculuk bölümünün Türkçe tercümesidir. Bu tercüme konu hakkında yeterli yayın bulunmayan Türkçe felsefe literatürünü zenginleştirmeyi amaçlamaktadır.

Neo-Platonism was an outstanding school of philosophy which had a deep influence on both Islamic and Medieval western philosophy. "Eclectic" character, attributed to the Islamic philosophy, partially resulted from the translation of Neo-Platonist texts. Abdurrahman Bedevî, the original author of this article, is an authority on Neo-Platonism and proved his competency by publishing the critical edition of Esûlûcyâ (Theology of Aristotle) - the abridged translation made from some parts of Enneades. This article, is the Turkish translation of the "Neo-Platonism" chapter of Bedevî's book Harîfü'l-fikri'l-yûnânî. It aims to contribute the literature on Neo-Platonism in Turkish, which is regrettably insufficient.
