Egzersiz Alıskanlıgına Iliskin Degisim Asamaları Kavram Analizi
Amaç: Bu çalısmanın amacı, egzersiz davranısına iliskin degisim asamalarıkavramını Walker ve Avant’ın kavram analizi ile açıklamaktır.Yöntem: Çalısmada, degisim asamaları kavramını açıklamak için Walkerve Avant’ın sekiz basamaklı kavram analizi yöntemi kullanılmıstır.Literatür taraması Web of Science, Science Direct, PubMed, EBSCOhost,Ovid, ProQuest, Google Scholar, Akademik Google ve Ulakbimveri tabanları kullanılarak yapılmıstır. “Egzersize baslama”, “egzersizve degisim asamaları”, “egzersiz ve kavram analizi”, degisim asamalarıve kavram analizi”, “hemsirelik ve kavram analizi” anahtar sözcüklerikullanılarak ulasılan 21 makale, bir rehber kitapçık ve dört kitap incelenmistir.Bulgular: Bu kavram analizi ile egzersiz alıskanlıgına iliskin degisimasamaları kavramının tanımı incelenmis, kavramın degisim süreçleri,öz etkililik ve karar dengesi ile iliskili oldugu belirlenmistir. Inkâr,davranıs degisimine direnç, kararsızlık, arastırma ve yeni sınırları belirleme, davranıs degisimini özümseme, davranıs degisimine adanmakavramın tanımlayıcı özelliklerini olusturmustur. Kavramın özellikleridikkate alınarak model olgu ve sınırda olgu tartısılmıs, hemsirelik uygulamalarıaçıklanmıstır.Sonuç: Egzersiz alıskanlıgına iliskin degisim asamaları kavramının tümözelliklerinin bireyin alacagı egitimle gelistirilebilecegi belirlenmistir.Bu dogrultuda, hemsire bireyin egzersize baslama davranısına geçistehazır olma durumunu belirlemeli ve degisim asamalarında ilerlemeyidesteklemelidir.
Concept Analysis: The Stages of Change Regarding Exercise Habits
Aim: The purpose of this study is to explain the stages of change concept regarding exercise behavior as put forward by Walker and Avant. Methods: The concept analysis of Walker and Avant was used in this study to explain the stages of change concept regarding exercise behavior. A literature review was conducted using the following databases: Web of Science, Science Direct, PubMed, EBSCOhost, Ovid, ProQuest, Google Scholar, Academic Google, and Ulakbim. Such key words as “start to exercise,” “exercise and stage of change,” “exercise and concept analysis,” “stage of change and concept analysis,” and “nursing and concept analysis” were used for the search. Twenty one articles, one guidebook, and four books were analyzed in the study. Results: With this concept analysis, the de nition of the stages of change concept related to exercise habits was examined, and it was determined that the process of change, self-ef cacy, and decision balance were the related concepts for the stages of change. The following attributes of the concepts were determined: denial, instability, research, setting new boundaries, and the resistance, assimilation, and dedication to behavioral change. Model and borderline cases were presented, and nursing practices were announced. Conclusion: It was determined that all of the characteristics of stages of change regarding exercise behavior are related to a person’s education. In this regard, the nurse must determine a person’s readiness for transitioning to their exercise-onset behavior and support their progress through the stages of change.
