Yeni bir antepfıstığı zararlısı: Labidostomis longimana (Linnaeus, 1758) (Coleoptera: Chrysomelidae)

Antepfıstığı ağaçlarında önemli zararlara neden olan ve 2008 yılında Siirt ilinde populasyon artışı gösteren Labidostomis longimana (Linnaeus, 1758) (Coleoptera: Chrysomelidae)'nın Siirt ilindeki yayılışı ve zararı bu çalışmayla incelenmiştir. Bu zararlının antepfıstıklarında ki zarar şekli tanımlanmış, bu ilde tüm fıstık alanlarında bulunduğu belirlenmiş ayrıca en yüksek populasyon yoğunluğunu Eruh ilçesinde oluşturduğu antepfıstığı ağaçları ve fidanlıklarında erken dönemlerde zarar yaptığı ve genç yaprakları kemirerek ağaç ve fidanların zayıf düşmesine neden olduğu belirlenmiştir.

A new pistachio pest: Labidostomis longimana,(Linnaeus, 1758) (Coleoptera: Chrysomelidae)

In the province of Siirt, the dispersion of and damage by the Labidostomis longimana (Linnaeus, 1758) (Coleoptera: Chrysomelidae), which has caused the pistachios to be damaged seriously and shown a significant increase in its population in the year 2008 in the province of Siirt, has been analyzed in this study. The type of damage given by this pest to the pistachios has been described, and the case that they are present in the every area which the pistachio is cultivated, especially in Eruh district of the county in which they have the highest population density, has been observed. Moreover, it has been identified that they have caused to damage to the pistachio trees and pistachio nurseries in their early periods by gnawing the green leaves of the trees and nurseries and leading them to be weakened.
