Bu ara?tyrmanyn amacy, ba?langyç piyano e?itimi sürecinde algysal ö?renme stillerinin ö?retim etkinliklerinde uygulanma durumunu belirlemektir. Ara?tyrma 2008–2009 e?itim-ö?retim döneminde gerçekle?mi?tir. Ara?tyrmada, küme örnekleme yöntemiyle Türkiye'nin farkly bölgelerinden seçilen üniversitelerin e?itim fakültelerine ba?ly müzik e?itimi anabilim dallarynda piyano e?itimi veren ö?retim elemanlary (n:25) ile 1. synyf ö?rencileri (n:177) üzerinde gerçekle?tirilmi?tir. Veriler, ö?renci ve ö?retim elemanlary için hazyrlanan anket formu ile elde edilmi?tir. Ara?tyrmada, algysal ö?renme stillerinin görsel, i?itsel ve devinimsel boyutlarynda hazyrlanan ö?retim etkinliklerinin a?yrlyklary de?i?se de farkly ö?renme profilindeki ö?renciler için kullanyldy?y, devinimsel ba?ta olmak üzere i?itsel etkinliklerin her ö?renme profili için daha fazla tercih edildi?i sonuçlaryna ula?ylmy?tyr.

THE APPLICATION OF PERCEPTUAL LEARNING STYLES IN BEGINNING PIANO EDUCATION

The aim of this study, in piano education, is to determine the applicability of perceptual learning styles in academic activities. The method of cluster sampling was conducted during the 2008-2009 academic year. 25 piano instructors and 177 first grade students have been selected from the music department of universities that placed in different regions of Turkey and this research has been carried out with these the piano instructors (n:25) and students (n:177). The data has been obtained by questionnaire that prepared for instructors and students. In conclusion, it has been determined that all instructors participating in the survey, have used all teaching activities (prepared in visual, aural, kinesthetic/tactile style) for each learning profile although the rate varies. However, they frequently prefered especially kinesthetic and aural activities for each learning profile. And the student opinion has supported this conclusion.
