Moklobemid aşırı doz sonucu oluşan serotonin sendromu (Olgu sunumu)

Olgumuz 33 yaşında idi ve suisid amacıyla alınan moklobemid entoksikasyonu nedeniyle acil serviste görüldü. Ailesinden alman öyküye göre moklobemidle beraber başka ilaçlar da (metamizol, asetaminofen, fenil propanolamin+parasetamol+ klorfeniramin maleat+kodein fosfat+kafein, benzidamin ve mebendazol) almıştı. Olgunun bilinci kapalı solunum sıkıntısı olduğundan entübe edildi ve mekanik ventilasyona başlanarak Yoğun Bakım Ünitesi (YBÜ)'ne nakledildi. Olgu 3 gün ventilator desteğinde olmak üzere, 5 gün süre ile YBÜ'de kaldı ve 5. gün herhangi bir sekel olmaksızın Psikiyatri Servisi

Serotonin syndrome caused with moclobemide overdose (Case report)

A 33-year-old woman was admitted to the emergency unit due to suicide attempt with moclobemide. The history taken from her family revealed that she also ingested some other drugs (metamisole sodyum, acetaminophen, phenylpropanolamin HCl + paracetamol + chlorpheniramin maleat + codeine phosphate + caffeine, benzydamine HCl and mebendazol) with moclobemide. She was in a comatose state with respiratory distress. The patient was intubated and admitted to our ICU, and supportive treatment was started immediately. She remained in the ICU for 5 days requiring 3 days of ventilatory support. Five days later, she was discharged from ICU to the Psychiatry Department without any systemic or neurologic sequela.
