Barok dönem flütçüsü Jacques-Martin Hotteterre üzerine bir inceleme

Bu çalışmada; Fransız flütçü, besteci, enstrüman yapımcısı, öğretmen ve yazar olan barok dönem müzisyenlerinden Jacques-Martin Hotteterre La Romain incelenmektedir. Hotteterre XIV. Louis ve XV. Louis döneminde sarayda çalışan, üflemeli çalgılar yorumcusu ve yapımcısı olan çok ünlü bir ailenin üyesidir. Önemli bir müzisyen olmasına rağmen müzik tarihinde XIX. yüzyılın sonlarında araştırılmaya başlanmıştır. Bu çalışmada, Hotteterre‟in yaşamı, müzikal kimliği araştırılmış, süslemelerinin yer aldığı tablo açıklanmış, op. 2 Premiere süiti ve yazdığı flüt metodu (Principes de la Flute Traversiere, ou Flute d'Allemagne, De la Flute A Bec, ou Flute Douce, et du Haut-Bois) incelenmiştir. Barok dönemin önemli niteliklerinden olan süslemelerde Hotteterre‟in vermiş olduğu örnekler açıklanmıştır. Fransız flüt ekolünün kurucusu olarak kabul edilen Hotteterre hakkında bilgi sunulması istenmiştir. Yabancı literatürde Hotteterre üzerine yapılan çalışmalara kıyasla, bu müzisyen için Türkiye‟de yapılan çalışmalar eksiktir ve henüz arzu edilen düzeye gelmemiştir. Bu çalışmanın sonucunda, Hotteterre‟nin günümüz müzik çevresine olan katkıları ortaya koyulmuş ve Hotteterre‟in flüt ve müzik tarihindeki önemi irdelenmiştir.

A survey on baroque flautist Jacques-Martin Hotteterre

In this study, the influential French flautist, composer, instrument maker, teacher and writer of the Baroque period, Jacques-Martin Hotteterre La Romain , is appraised. Hotteterre was a celebrated member of the family of woodwind players and instrument makers who were active at the French court during the reigns of Louis XIV and Louis XV. In spite of Hotteterre‟s importance, little documentation concerning his life has been accessible. Hotteterre first attracted the attention of scholars in the late nineteenth century. In this study, Hotteterre's life, op. 2 Premiere suite and writing (Principes de la Flute Traversiere, ou Flute d'Allemagne, De la Flute A Bec, ou Flute Douce, et du Haut-Bois), are reappraised. Important characteristics of the Baroque period are evident in examples of Hotteterre‟s ornamentation to the age. The question regarding who is considered to be the founder of the French flute school was asked to glean information regarding Hotteterre. Research on Hotteterre has been developing over a period in the foreign literature, but in Turkey there is a lack of in-depth study on this musician and the Turkish literature needs amending. As a result of this work, Hotteterre‟s legacy will remind the current music world of his important contribution to flute and music history.
