Ürolojik laparoskopik cerrahide port yeri metastazı: Derleme

Port yeri metastazı, malignitelerde uygulanan laparoskopik cerrahi sonrası gelişen bir patolojidir. Bu makalenin amacı üro-onkolojik prosedürler sonrası gelişen port yeri metastazının insidans, risk faktörü ve patofizyolojisini gözden geçirmektir. Bizim araştırmamıza göre ürolojik literatürde 34 port yeri metastazı vakası bildirilmiştir. Port yeri metastazında birçok faktör suçlanmaktadır. Operatör onkolojik cerrahi prensiplerine ciddiyetle uyarsa port yeri metastaz riski düşmektedir. Sitotoksik veya immünomodülatör ajanlarla intraperitoneal alanın veya trokar yerinin irrigasyonunun faydası halen araştırılmaktadır.

Port site metastasis in urological laparoscopic surgery: Review

Port site metastasis is a pathology that developing after laparoscopic procedures for malignancies. The aim of this article is to provide an overview of the incidence, pathophysiology and risk factors of port site metastasis after uro-oncological procedures. To our knowledge, 34 cases of port site metastasis have been reported in the urologic literature. Many factors contribute to port site metastasis and tumor seeding. The risk of port site metastasis will be remains low if surgeons severely adhere to the principles of oncological surgery. The benefits of intraperitoneal or trocar-site irrigation with cytotoxic or immunomodulating agents are under investigation.
