This article deals with critical and literary issues of importance in the field of modern literary criticism. It deals with a controversial literary and monetary personality, with its imprints in literary, prose and poetic writing, and in the field of art in general. Jabra Ibrahim Jabra. We also presented in the research excerpts from the media dialogues conducted with him, highlighting his position on the concept of poetry, and the motives of renewal, which - he thought - was inherent in himself early, the maturity of his poetry, so as not to hide his recognition that the poet who discussed the modern poetry spirit of renewal, represented in bringing him out of free poetry. In addition to its composition in the western universities, there is no doubt that his literary and critical encounters with some critics, intellectuals and creative poets such as Baland Al Haidari, Hussein Mardan, Jawad Salim, Shaker Hassan, Bader Shaker Al Sayyab, Abdul Malik Nuri, Najib Al Mana, Qahtan Awni and Rafa Al Jaderji were a strong motivation in opening the door wide for the renewal In modern Arabic poetry. On the other hand, we discussed those views that deny Jabra's role of renewal by providing a number of objective scientific arguments.
