HIRİSTİYANLIK TARİHİNDE KİLİSE VE ‘KİLİSE’ İÇİN KULLANILAN METAFORLAR

Hıristiyan Kilise (Ecclesiolgy) teolojisi, Hıristiyan ilahiyatında önemlidir. Kilise kavramına yüklenen anlamlar, Kilisenin mahiyetinin ve boyutlarının belirlenmesinde önemli olmuştur. Ayrıca, Kiliseye atfedilen özellikler ve Kilise için kullanılan metaforlar Kilisenin misyonunun ve kurtuluştaki rolünün belirlenmesinde etkili birer unsurdur. Kilise, Hıristiyanlığın ilk dönemlerinden itibaren inanlılar üzerinde etkili olmuştur. Ancak zaman zaman Kilisenin bu etkinliği zayıflamıştır. İlk dönemlerde ve Ortaçağda bu zayıflık fazla hissedilmemiştir. Ancak, Ortaçağın sonlarına doğru ve 20. Yüzyılın başlarında Kilise inanlıların seküler ihtiyaçlarından uzak kalmıştır. Bunun neticesinde, 20. yüzyılın başlarından itibaren genel olarak Hıristiyanlık dünyasında, özel olarak da Katolik dünyasında Kilise anlayışı konusunda yeni gelişmeler olmuştur. Hıristiyan dünyasındaki geleneksel yaklaşımlara göre, Kilise sosyal olmaktan ziyade giderek katı hiyerarşik bir yapıya bürünmüş ve insanları cezp etme gücünü kaybetmiştir. Özellikle 20. Yüzyılda Kilise'nin mahiyeti, boyutları, yapısı ve misyonu konusundaki geleneksel yaklaşımlar bağlılarının ihtiyaç duyduğu çağdaş vizyonu sağlayamaz olmuştur. Kilise özellikle bu yüzyılın başlarından itibaren içine girdiği misyon krizini tartışmaya başlamıştır. Bu ve benzeri konulardaki tartışmalar yeni oluşumların ortaya çıkmasına zemin hazırlamıştır. Hıristiyanlık tarihinde Kilise genel olarak bir metafor aracılığıyla anlatılagelmiş ve buna bağlı olarak kilise teolojisi oluşmuştur. Bir şeyin daha etkin ve zihinlerde daha somut olarak anlaşılmasını sağlamak için metaforlara başvurulur. Hıristiyan Teolojisi açısından kilise için kullanılan metaforların da bu amaçla kullanıldığı aşikardır. Kilise için kullanılan metaforlar, genel itibariyle Hıristiyan ilahiyatında önemli yere sahiptir. İsa'yla ilgili olarak kullanılan metaforlar olsun Tanrı'yla ilgili kullanılan metaforlar olsun ve Kutsal Ruh'la ilgili kullanılan metaforlar olsun her bir metafor Hıristiyan Teolojisinde önemli bir yeri olan unsurla ilgilidir

THE CHURCH IN HISTORY OF CHRISTIANITY AND METAOPHORS USED FOR THE CHURCH

Ecclesiology is important in the Christian Teology. The meanings given to the church is major subtject for missions and dimensions of the church. Also, attributed Characteristics of the church and metaphors used to determine for the church are significant factor for missions and role of church in salvation. The church has affected on Christians since the first period of the Christianity. However, the effect of the church became ineffective at time. This ineffectiveness has not evedent in the first and middle ages. But, to last of middle ages and at the beginning of twentiety ages, the Church has keep off secular demands of its believers. As of result of this, it has been the new progress as from the early of twentiety ages, generally in Christian World, specially in Catholic World. According to the traditional approach in the Christian World, Church has become increasingly strict hierarchical structure rather than social and lost its power to attract people. Especially, Conventional approaches about nature, dimensions, essence and missions of the church has not provide the modern vision needed of its believers. Particularly, at the beginning of this century the church began to discuss the crisis of its mission. Discussions on this and similar issues has led to emergence of new movements. The Church have been described through a metaphor in history of Christianity in general and in parallel with this, church theology was formed. Metaphors are employed for something more effective and more concretely in mind to provide being understood. It is obvious that for this purpose metaphors used for the church in terms of Christian Theology. Metaphors used to describe the Churche in general has an important place in Christian Theology. Whether used as metaphors about Jesus and God and the Holy Spirit, a metaphor of each has an important place in Christian Theology and these are terms of Christian faith. significant in terms of Christian faith.
