Gökçeada civarında avlanan kolyoz (Scomber japonicus) balığında bulunan parazitleri tesbit etmek amacıyla Mayıs 1996-Ağustos 1997 tarihleri arasında gerçekleştirilen bu çalışmanın sonucunda incelenen 165 balığın 153'ünde (% 92.72) 11 tür parazit bulunmuştur. Bulunan bu parazitlerin l'i Monogenea (Octostoma scombri), 4'ü Digenea (Lepidopedon elongatum, Opechona ollsoni, Bacciger bacciger, Ectenurus lepidus), l'i Cestoda (Scolex pleuronectis), 2'si Nemotoda (Anisakis simplex, Contracaecum aduncum), 1 Copepoda (Lernaea sp.) 2'si İsopoda (Meinertia oestroides, Anilocra physodes) grubuna aittir.

In the result of this investigation that was realized between May 1996-August 1997 to establish the parasite fauna of Chub Mackerel (Scomber japonicus) which were caught in Gökçeada Penunsula in Aegean see 11 parasite species were found in 153 fishes of 165 fishes (92.72 %). This parasite found was belong to one species of Monogenea (Octostoma scombri), four species of Digenea (Lepidopedon elongatum, Opechona ollsoni, Bacciger bacciger, Ectenurus lepidus), one species of Cestoda (Scolex pleuronectis), two species of Nematoda (Anisakis simplex, Contracaecum aduncum), one species of Copepoda (Lernaea sp.), two species of Isopoda (Meinertia oestroides, Anilocra physodes).
