Last developments on production versus attraction hypothesis in artificial reefs. During the last 30 years in USA and Europe, the construction of artificial reefs become a popular management tool employed by both government and private groups. Despite these developments, our understanding of the biological effects of reef deployment on marine ecosystems is still quite limited. In this review, it was evaluated the last developments on production versus attraction hypothesis which at central point of the issue.
