MOBILE PHONE USING IN CHILDREN

Nowadays the advances in technology provides some facilities to the population but also it has the possibility of causing some harmful effects. Particularly in developed and developing countries these technologic devices are more available. Therefore, particularly children at early ages and adolescents may lead to face some risk situations. Studies about devices, which create electromagnetic ields and emit radio frequency signals such as mobile phones, are progressing rapidly at the same time with the advancements of technology, although there is no composed consensus about long-term effects of these devices on children and adolescents. Nurses have responsibilities about health protection and promotion. In order to consider of these resposibilities they should be aware of this issue and draw public attention to this issue. Particularly nurses should inform children and public about what kind of damages that individuals may face in the future because of the early age usage of these devices, which create electromagnetic ields like mobile phones. Nurse also should draw public attention to protection of children from the effects of electromagnetic radiation that emitted by mobile phones.
