3- 9 Ve 13 yaş grubu çocukların anlatılarında ortaya çıkan zaman zarflarının sıklık ve işlevleri: Gelişimsel bir bakış açısı

Bu çalışma, 3-9 ve 13 yaş grubu çocuklar tarafından üretilen anlatılarda kullanılan zaman zarflarının kullanımındaki gelişimsel farkları incelemektedir. Çalışmaya temel oluşturan veri, Mercer Meyer’in (1969) yazısız, resimli kitabı Frog where are you? kullanılarak toplanmıştır. Veri gelişimsel ve söylem analizi bakış açılarıyla, hem nicel hem nitel bakımdan incelenmiştir. Bulgular, 3-9 ve 13 yaş grubu çocuklar tarafından üretilen anlatılarda, anlatıların büyük ve küçük ölçek yapılarını oluşturmak için, zaman zarflarının kullanımına ilişkin nicel ve nitel bakımdan önemli farkların olduğunu göstermiştir.

This study is intended to analyze the developmental differences in the emergence and function of temporal adverbs used in the narratives produced by children from 3 to 9 plus 13-year-olds. The data were collected using Mercer Meyer’s (1969) textless picture book Frog where are you? Data were analyzed with both developmental and discourse analytic perspectives both quantitatively and qualitatively. Findings indicate that there are both quantitative and qualitative differences in the use of temporal adverbs to construct both micro and macro temporal structure of narratives produced by children from 3 to 9 plus 13-year-olds.
