Bundan önceki iki makalede Fiziksel Realite'nin gözlemlenebilir ve ölçümlenebilir veçheleri ile ilgilenildi. Bu realite hiyerarşik bir yapıya sahip olabilmekteydi. Ayrıca Fiziksel Realite'nin bütün metafizik unsurlardan temizlenmesinin mümkün olmadığı ve görünen realitenin ardında realiteyi, bizim onu takabbül edip algıldığımız gibi şekillendiren bir başka kaynağın bulunabileceğini de idrâk etmiştik. Realite'nin ilimle ilgisi olmayan bu gizli ya da bâtını veçhesi doğrudan doğruya Metafiziğe olduğu kadar îman alanına da aittir. Pekçok filozof da bu kabil bir Nihaî Realite'nin mümkün olduğu hakkında fikir yürütmüşlerdir. Bu Nihaî Realite, aynı zamanda, pekçok dinî sistemde îmanın merkezî bir konusudur.

In two previous papers we dealt with the observable and measurable aspects of the Physical Reality. This reality might have a hierarchical structure. We also realized that the Physical Reality can not be cleaned up from all its metaphysical elements and that, behind the apparent reality, there could be an another source which may very well shape the reality in the way we are receiving and conceiving it. This occult or esoterical aspect of the Reality which has nothing to do with the science, belongs directly to Metaphysics as well as to the realm of faith. Many philosophers argued on the possibility of such an Ultimate Reality. This Ultimate Reality is also a central subject of the faith in many religious systems.
