Değişik düzeylerde ME içeren rasyonlara eklenen Fermacto-500, etlik piliçlerin canlı ağırlık artışı ve yemden yararlanma oranlarını olumlu yönde etkilemiştir.
Effect of pre-probiotic (Fermacto-500) on the yield characteristics of broiler chickens
This study was planned to evaluate the effect level and the energy amount that Fermacto-500, a pre-probiotic effects the survival rate, feed conversion and body weight increase of broiler chicken. The yield characteristics of broilers were investigated by adding 0.2% Fermacto-500 to the starter and grower rations of 4 trial groups at various ME levels. The body weights of trial birds were even little higher than the control birds untill the 3rd week. After the 3rd week body weights of the trial group birds were higher than the control groups. In all groups except the Trial 2, body weight increase showed a parallel decrease with the ME level of ration. Birds of Trial 2 reached their highest body weight after the second week and continued this increase until the end of the rearing period. The same condition of body weight increase was observed in feed conversion rate also. In all groups treated with pre-probiotic, a better feed conversion rate was observed relating to their controls. Pre-probiotic treatment made no effect on the survival rate. Fermacto-500 addition to broiler rations with various ME levels made benefical effect on body weight gains and survival rates. However this effect did not occur when the birds were fed with low ME level containing rations. Use of Fermacto-500 showed that, during entire rearing period total 7.02% more body weight gain and 2.41% lower feed consumption were achieved relating to the control group. These results suggest, a more economical broiler production can be done with Fermacto-500.
