Early Warning Systems for Financial Crises

A good number of theoretical and empirical studies have been carried out in order to find "early warning signs" for financial crises. According to the results of these studies, there have been st lot of common characteristics of the crises mentioned and it is possible to foresee these crises, to some extent, in the framework of models realized. Yet, the reliability of these models still depends on the fact that they are to be tested in more advanced level and new variables are to be added.
