Kurumsal Yönetim İlkeleri ile Mükemmel Halkla İlişkiler Bağı Üzerine Bir Analiz

Kurumsal yönetim ilkeleri, kurumsal yönetim kavramının öne çıkardığı şeffaflığa,etiğe ve sosyal sorumluluğa dayanır. İlkelere uyan şirketler bağımsız derecelendirmekuruluşları tarafından denetlenir, gerekli puanı alır ve Borsa İstanbul endekslerinden olanKurumsal Yönetim Endeksinde (KYE) yer almaya hak kazanır. Bu şirketler, kurumsalyönetim ilkelerinin dayandığı temel felsefenin bir sonucu olarak birer etkin örgütlerdirve bu nedenle J.E.Grunig ve diğerlerinin (2005) tanımladığı mükemmel halkla ilişkileruygulamalarına ve departman örgütlenişine doğal olarak sahip olmaları gerekir. Budoğrultuda bu araştırmanın amacı kurumsal yönetim ilkeleri ile mükemmel halkla ilişkilerteorisi arasındaki ilişkiyi ortaya koyarak KYEnde yer alan şirketlerin halkla ilişkilerdepartmanlarının örgütlenişini ve uygulayıcı rollerini ortaya çıkarmaktır. Böylece buçalışma, Türkiyede kurumsal yönetim ilkelerini içselleştirdiği tescil edilmiş şirketlerdekihalkla ilişkiler fonksiyonunun, hakla ilişkiler teorik yaklaşımları ile örtüşüp örtüşmediğiniaçıklayarak literatüre katkı sağlar. Bu araştırmada BİST KYE şirketlerinin 2013 yılıkurumsal yönetim raporları ve web siteleri incelenmiş, halkla ilişkiler uygulayıcıları ilegörüşülmüştür. İncelenen şirketlerin halkla ilişkiler departmanlarının özerk olmadığı,uygulayıcılarının ise teknisyen olarak konumlandığı görülmüştür.

An Analysis on Corporate Governance Principles with Perfect Public Relations Bond

Corporate governance principles are based on the transparency, ethics and socialresponsibility of concept of corporate governance. Companies, whose policies conform,are controlled by independent rating agencies, get the required score and are eligible toplace in corporate governance index (KYE) which is one of index in Borsa Istanbul. Thesecompanies are active organizations as a result of philosophy based on corporate governancepolicies and for this reason they must naturally have excellent public relations applicationsand department organization as defined by J.E.Grunig and others (2005). In this respect,the aim of this research is to reveal the organization of public relations departments ofcorporations exist in KYE and their practitioner roles by putting out the theory between thecorporate governance principles and excellent public relations. Thus, this study contribute tothe literature by analyzing whether the public relations functions in the registered companieswhich is internalized by the corporate governance principles in Turkey corresponds to thetheoretical approaches of public relation. In this study, BIST KYE companies governancereports for the year 2013 and web sites have been examined, interviewed with the publicrelations practitioners. It is understood that examined corporations public relationdepartments are not autonomous, practitioner act as technicians.
