Abbasî Halifesi Mehdî Dönemi (169-185/775-785) Üzerine Bazı Mülahazalar

İslam Tarihinde din ve siyasetin birbirinden ayrılamazlığı yaygın bir durumdur. Bu nedenle bir halifenin dinî politikası, dönemin hakim eğilimleri bağlamında incelenmelidir. Mehdî’nin dinî politikası onun Sünnîliği kabulünü, sapkınlara zulmünü ve Müslüman olmayanlara karşı tutumunu içerir.

Some Observations on the Reign of the ‘Abbâsid Caliph al-Mahdî 169/775-185/785

In Islamic History, the indifference of religion and politics is common. Therefore, the religious policy of a caliph should be examined in the context of the dominant tendencies of the period. The religious policy of Mahdi means his acceptance of Sunniism, his persecution of heretics and It includes attitude towards non-Muslims.
