Dr. Nevin Önberk, Hacettepe Üniversitesi'nin kuruluşundan itibaren Edebiyat Fakültesi Türk Dili ve Edebiyatı Bölümü Yeni Türk Edebiyatı bilim dalında yirmi beş yıl görev almış çok değerli bir öğretim üyesi ve araştırmacıdır. Bugün bölümde Yeni Türk Edebiyatı alanında görev yapmakta olan öğretim üyelerinin hocası olmuş, herkesin saygıyla andığı bir eğitmendir. Dr. Önberk, bölümde Cumhuriyet dönemi Türk edebiyatı, çağdaş Türk şiiri, çağdaş Türk tiyatrosu ve üslup dersleri vermiştir. Bu derslerle bölümün yeni Türk edebiyatı programının oluşumunda gerek içerik gerek yöntem bakımından kalıcı izler bırakmıştır

Dr. Nevin Önberk is one of the prominent faculty members and researchers who worked for twenty-five years at the Branch of Modern Turkish Literature of the Department of Turkish Language and Literature at the Faculty of Letters since the foundation of Hacettepe University. She is a person that everyone remembers with respect and she became the teacher of almost all the academic staff of the Branch of Modern Turkish Literature of the Department of Turkish Language and Literature. Dr. Önberk gave lectures on the Republican Period Turkish Literature, Contemporary Turkish Poetry, Contemporary Turkish Theater and Style in Literature at the Department.
