Ecological and systematical studies on Vespidae (Hymenoptera: Vespoidea) species of Kayseri province

Bu çalışma, 1997 yılı Mayıs-Ağustos ayları arasında Kayseri ilinden toplanan 654 Vespidae (Insecta: Hymenoptera) örneğine dayanmaktadır. Çalışmada Vespinae alt familyasından 3 tür Vespa orientalis (Linnaeus 1771), Vespula (Paravespula) germanica, (Fabricius, 1793), Dolichovespula sylvestris, (Scopoli, 1763); Polisiinae alt familyasından 3 tür Polistes (Leptopolistes) gallicus,(L^rm&tvs, 1767) Polistes (s.str.) nimpha, (Christ, 1791), Polistes (s.str.) dominulus dominulus (Christ, 1791) saptanmıştır. Polistes gallicus, Polistes (s.str.) nimpha, Polistes (s.str.) dominulus dominulus bölge için ilk kayıttır. Çalışmada saptanan türlere ait teşhis anahtarları düzenlenerek, dağılışları ekolojileri ve fenolojileri verilmiştir. Sonuçlar sistematik ve faunistik açıdan değerlendirilmiştir.

Kayseri ili Vespidae (Hymenoptera: Vespoidea) türleri üzerine ekolojik ve sistematik araştırmalar

This study is based on 654 Vespidae {Insecta: Hymenoptera) samples which were collected from Kayseri province between, May and August in 1997. In this study 3 species belonging to the subfamily Vespinae; Vespa orientalis (Linnaeus 1771), Vespula (Paravespula) germanica, (Fabricius, 1793) Dolichovespula sylvestris, (Scopoli, 1763); and 3 species belonging to the subfamily Potistinae; Polistes (Leptopolistes) gallicus (Linnaeus, 1767), Polistes (s.str.) nirpha (Christ, 1791), Polistes (s.str.) dominulus dominulus (Christ, 1791) were recorded. From these Polistes (Leptopolistes) gallicus (Linnaeus, 1767), Polistes (s.str.) nimpha, (Christ, 1791), Polistes (s.str.) dominulus dominulus (Christ, 1791) are new records to the fauna of Kayseri. Identification keys for the species were prepared. Distributions of species as well as ecology and phenologies were given. The results were discussed from the systematic and faunistic standpoint.
