An alternative approach to kinematic design of speed mechanisms used in machine tools

In this study; A computer programming has been developed by using AutoLISP programming language, making kinematic design of speed mechanism used in machine tools and drafting speed diagram according to this design. In the program, depending on the construction and speed diagrams of the system having entered necessary parameters, the distrubition of the range of RPM's between the maximum and minimum values of the system according to the geometrical array could be defined. General and partial transmission ratios, standart output RPM's can be determined within the tolerances. Various combinations of RPM can be achieved. The main objective of this study is to bring speed, flexibility and usefulness to this kind of design studies that require long and tiresame working.
