Kentsel estetik analizi üzerine bir yöntem araştırması

Şehir Plancıları, Peyzaj Mimarları ve Kensel Tasarımcıların kentsel mekanlara ilişkin estetik değerlendirmelerinde kişisellik oranı oldukça yüksektir. Bu kişiselliğin azaltılarak daha bilmsel sonuçların elde edilebilmesi, insanın algılama özellikleri ile tasarım ilkeleri arasındaki ilişkilerin sistematik bileşkesi ile sağlanabilir. Bu hipotez doğrultusunda oluşturulan yöntem, örneklem alanlarda sınanarak doğruluk oranları belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır.

The subjectivity ratio of aesthetic evaluation in urban settings are fairly large for City Planners, Landscape Architects and Urban Designers. The means to decrease this subjectivity and obtaining more scientific results can be reached by the mutual systematic integration of human perceptual properties with design principles. The method that has been evolved according to this hypothesis, has later been tested by means of case studies in order to determine its accuracy.
