Kentsel ve endüstriyel atıksu arıtma tesisi arıtma çamurlarındaki ağır metal düzeylerinin değerlendirilmesi

Bu çalışmada Elazığ Belediyesi Atıksu Arıtma Tesisi ile KÖY-TÜR Kesimhane Arıtma Tesisi arıtma çamurlarında ağır metal düzeyleri araştırılmıştır. Bu amaçla her iki arıtma tesisinden arıtma çamuru numuneleri, alınmış ve ağır metal düzeyleri belirlenmiştir .Yapılan analizler sonucunda toplam metal konsantrasyonlarının belediye arıtma çamurlarında Fe 2349±545.3 ppm, Cr 73.1±10.94 ppm, Cu 148.5±20.5 ppm, Zn 310.9±42.73 ppm, Co 56.2±11.26 ppm, Mn 299.5±52.58 ppm, Ni 74.8±12.29, Pb 48.7±45.99 ppm aralığında ve KÖY-TÜR arıtma çamurlarında ise Fe 2115±248.48 ppm, Cr 40.7±7.73 ppm, Cu 173.1±15.1 ppm, Zn 1450.1±148.72 ppm, Co 5.42±0.85 ppm, Mn 203±16.59 ppm, Ni 98.9±7.78, Pb 1.675±0.18 ppm aralığında olduğu saptanmıştır. Elde ettiğimiz sonuçlara göre KÖY-TÜR arıtma tesisi arıtma çamurundaki Ni hariç her iki tesisin çamurlarındaki ağır metal düzeylerinin ülkemiz Toprak Kirliliğinin Kontrolü Yönetmeliği'nde verilen tarımda kullanılacak arıtma çamurlarında müsaade edilebilecek maksimum ağır metal içeriklerinin altında, toprakta müsaade edilen maksimum ağır metal muhtevaları limit değerlerinin ise her iki çamur numunesinde de Ni bakımından üzerinde olduğu bulunmuştur.

Evaluation of heavy metal levels in sewage sludges of municipal and industrial wasterwater treatment plants

In this study, concentrations of various heavy metals in sewage sludges of Elazığ-City Domestic Wastewater Treatment Plants (DWTP) and KÖY-TÜR Slaughterhouse Wastewater Treatment Plants (SWTP) were determined and evaluated according to Turkish Regulation of Soil Pollution Control. The total concentrations of heavy metals were found to be 2349±545,3 ppm for iron, 73,1±10,94 ppm for chromium, 148,5±20,5 ppm for cupper, 310,9±42,73 ppm for zinc, 56,2±11,26 ppm for cobalt, 299,5±52,58 ppm for manganese, 74,8±12,29 ppm for nickel, 48,7±45,99 ppm for lead in the sludge of DWTP and 2115±248,48 ppm for iron, 40,7±7,73 ppm for chromium, 173,1±15,1 ppm for cupper, 1450,1±148,72 ppm for zinc, 5,42±0,85 ppm for cobalt, 203±16,59 ppm for manganese, 98,9±7,78 ppm for nickel, 1,675±0,18 ppm for lead in the sludge of SWTP. According to Turkish Regulation of Soil Pollution Control, all heavy metals levels except for Ni in KÖY-TÜR sludges were can be considered appropriate for use in agricultural fields, but Ni concentrations in both sludges were not within the allowable values.
