Yalnızlık Duygusu ile İlgili Temel Karakteristik ve Boyutların Psikolojik Danışma Süreci Çerçevesinde İncelenmesi

Son yıllarda yalnızlık üzerine yapılan çalışmalarda göreli bir artış gözlenmektedir. Yakın literatüre bakıldığında, yalnızlığın ne olduğunu açıklayan çok fazla araştırma, model ve teori olmasına karşın, yalnızlık yaşantısını psikolojik danışmanlık ve terapi süreci açısından inceleyen yeterli araştırma veya kavramsal çalışmalara rastlanılmamaktadır. Bu nedenle, bu çalışmanın amacı, yalnızlıkla ilgili araştırma, kavram ve kuramların genel bir çerçevesini sunmaktır. Bu amaçla; yalnızlık kavramı açıklanmış, kavram ile ilgili çalışmalar özetlenmiş, araştırma sonuçları psikolojik danışma ve terapi süreci ile ilişkisi açısından tartışılmış ve ileride yapılacak çalışmalar için bazı öneriler sunulmuştur.

The Evaluation of the Major Characteristics and Aspects of the Loneliness in Counseling Process

Loneliness has been studied increasingly by many scholars in recent years. Although there are many more researches, models, and theories which try to explain what loneliness is, there are not adequate researches and conceptual frameworks that explain loneliness in counseling and therapy process. The purpose of this study was to present a general perspective of research findings, concepts and theories related to loneliness. For this purpose, depending on literature review, the concept of loneliness is described, the results of the research regarding this concept are summarized, and they are discussed in terms of counseling and therapy process. In addition, some suggestions for further research were offered.
