ÖzetTürkiye Cumhuriyeti 'nin oluşum sürecinde, diğer alanlarda olduğu gibiTarih alanında da "Milli" bir bakışla yeni değerlendirmeler yapdarak, "TürkTarih Tezi" geliştirilmiştir. Avrupa tarih yazıcılığının Türklere karşı yanlış vekasıtlı yaklaşımlarına ve Türk Ulusunun Batılı emperyalist güçler tarafındanesir edilmek istenmesine karşı, tepki olarak şekillenen "Milli Tarih Anlayışı",Türkiye Cumhuriyeti Devleti'nin temel felsefesini oluşturacaktır. Atatürk'ünönderliği ve yönlendirmesi ile şekillenen bu yeni anlayış, dünden bugüneTürkiye Cumhuriyeti'nin bütün eğitim kurumlarının her seviyesindeuygulanmaya çalışılmıştır.Bu çalışmada; Türkiye 'de Cumhuriyetle birlikte oluşup şekillenen MilliTarih anlayışı ve bu anlayışın ortaya çıkmasında etkin olan sebepler, dünyadakibenzer yaklaşımlar da göz önünde tutularak değerlendirilmiştir. Bu dönemde,Milli Tarih Anlayışının tarih öğretimine yansımaları ve bu amaçla yapılan ilkfaaliyetler ele alınarak, Milli Tarih anlayışının bir uzantısı olarak şekillenenAtatürk İlkeleri ve İnkılâp Tarihi derslerinin tarih öğretimindeki yeri üzerindedurulmuştur. I930'lu yıllardan günümüze bu derslerle ilgili olarak yapılanuygulamalar ve yaşanılan sorunlar belirtilerek, bunların çözümü yönündeöneriler ortaya konulmuş ve konunun önemi vurgulanmaya çalışılmıştır.Anahtar Kelimeler: Milli Tarih, Tarih öğretimi, Türk tarihi, Türk TarihKurumu, Atatürk İlkeleri ve İnkılâp Tarihi.AbstractNew evolution have been made with a "National" perspective infield ofhistory as well as in the other fields during the creation process of TurkishRepublic, thus "thesis of Turkish History" has been developed. Shaped andformed as reaction to the deliberately distorted and untrue approaches of theEuropen historians and historiographers toward Turks and to the fact that thewestern imperialist powers have a desire to capture the Turks, "NationalUnderstanding of History" is going to be the corner stone of the State ofTurkish Republic. There has been a ceaseless effort to apply this newanderstanding, created under the leadership and guidance of Atatürk, in all theeducational institutions of Turkish Republic.This study aims to evaluate the National Understanding of History, whichwas formed together with the Republic in Turkey, and the reasons for thisunderstanding with a view to the similar approaches in the world. The refletionsof National Understanding of History on the teaching of history and the earliestactivities to this end have been hand!end. Then the place of the courses ofAtatürk's Principles and Revolution History, which were included in thecurriculum as cm extension of the National Understanding of History, in theteaching of history has been discussed.
