ÖzetBu araştırmada Sosyal Bilgiler 7 ders kitaplarında yer alan OsmanlıKültür ve Uygarlığı ünitesi incelenmeye çalışılmıştır. Ülkemizde ders kitabı,öğretmen ve yazı tahtası ile birlikte, verilen tüm bilginin % 99 unu İleten biraraçtır. Dolayısıyla öğrencinin yaş ve zeka seviyesine, ilgi, yetenek veyaşantılarına uygun olmayan, görsel malzemelerle desteklenmeyen bir derskitabı düşünülemez. Bu ilkeler çerçevesinde hazırlanan bir ders kitabı, kalıcıizli öğrenmelere daha fazla imkan sağlayabilir.Anahtar Kelimeler: Ders kitabı, eğitim, kültür, uygarlık, sosyal bilgiler. AbstractIn this research, the unit of Otoman Culture and Civilization in socialsciences, second year class book, junior high school has been studied. In ourcountry a class book as well as a teacher and a board is an instrument whichgives 99 % of all information. So the class book can not be imagined which isnot suitable for the student's age, intelligence level, interest, ability and hislifestyle and which is not supported by visual tools. A class book being preparedin accordence with these principles can be quite contributable to permanentlearning.Key Words: class book, education, culture, civilization, social science,evoluation.
