ÖzetBu çalışmada farklı iki öğretim yöntemi kullanılarak farklı iki yerleşikteöğrenim gören öğrencilerin demokratik tutumları çeşitli değişkenler açısındanaraştırılmıştır. Araştırma Milli Eğitim Bakanlığına bağlı üçü merkez ilköğretimokulu ve diğer ikisi kırsal kesimdeki ilköğretim okulları olmak üzere toplam beşilköğretim okulu seçilmiştir. Merkez ilköğretim okullarının ikisi gruplaöğrenme yönteminin uygulandığı, bunlardan birinin karma diğerinin kız-erkekgrupları olarak seçildiği deney grubu, diğeri ise geleneksel yönteminuygulandığı kontrol grubu olarak belirlenmiştir. Kırsal ilköğretim okullarınınbiri grupla öğrenme yönteminin uygulandığı deney grubu diğeri ise gelenekselyöntemin uygulandığı kontrol grubu olarak belirlenmiştir. Çalışmayabaşlamadan önce grupla öğrenme yönteminin uygulanmış olduğu deneygrupları ile geleneksel yöntemin uygulanmış olduğu kontrol grupları arasındademokratik tutum açısından öntest sonuçlarına göre anlamlı bir farkıngörülmediği, ancak grupla öğrenme yönteminin uygulanması sonucunda sontest sonuçlarına göre kırsal yerleşikteki deney grubu ile kontrol grubu arasındaanlamlı bir farkın oluştuğu tespitine varılmıştır.Anahtar Kelimeler: Grupla öğrenme metodu, demokratik tutum,geleneksel öğrenme metodu. AbstractIn this study the students' democratic attitudeshave been analysed usingtwo different teaching method in term of different variations, who are havingcourses in different places.Totally five primary schools have been selected, three of them are in thecenter and the left two schools are in the rural area depending on the national education ministry. Two of the central primary schools were applied grouplearning method, one of them is a co- education and the other one has beenchoosen as boy and girl experimental group and also the last group has beenchoosen as a control group in which the tradational method has been used.Before starting the study between the two group in which group learningmethod and tradational method have been used according to the pre test results,there seemed no meaninigful differences but after using aplying group learningmethod, it has been understood that there is a meaniniful difference betweenthe two groups in the rural area.Key Words: Group learning method, Democratic attitude, TraditionalTeaching method
