Obama Sağlık Reformu: Kanseri Aspirinle Tedavi Etmek!
In the United States of America, trillions of US dollars were spent to resque the major banks and other financial instutions of Wall Street, immediately after the 2008 crisis. On the other hand, to get healthcare services became increasingly harder for working families and unemployed. This caused a public outrage and a number of rallies and mobilisations for healthcare reform were initiated by labour, community and activist organisations. Because, in addition to the existing economic crisis, healthcare in the states had reached a critical-crisis level, causing families even with private health insurance policies, to face with a financial ruin as health insurance premiums for ordinary American families continued to skyrocket. However, the US Health Care Act passed with a narrow majority of 219-212 with not a single Republican vote in favour. Conservative Republicans and right wing politicians organised “tea parties” and demonstrations against the Act, accused Obama falsely of being a socialist. Whether the socalled Health Care Reform Act is a radical change or not has still been a hot issue
