ÇEKİRDEKSİZ ÜZÜM ISLAHINDA SON GELİŞMELER
Sofralık ve kurutmalık üzüm çeşitlerinde çekirdeksizlik aranılan özelliklerden biridir. Tüketici talepleridoğrultusunda çekirdeksizlik üzümlerin pazarlama şansını arttıran önemli bir özellik olmaya devametmektedir. Türkiye ve dünya pazarlarında değerlendirilen kuru üzümün tamamına yakını çekirdeksizüzümlere aittir. Bunun yanı sıra, sofralık üzüm ticaretinde çekirdeksiz çeşitlere olan talep son yıllarda artışgöstermektedir. Bu nedenle, sofralık tüketime uygun, iri taneli yeni çekirdeksiz üzüm çeşitlerin eldeedilmesi, bağcılıktaki ıslah çalışmalarının önemli amaçlarından birini oluşturmaktadır. Bu araştırmadaülkemizde ve dünyada son yıllarda ıslah edilerek piyasaya sunulan yeni çekirdeksiz üzüm çeşitleri hakkındabilgiler verilmiş, ayrıca çekirdeksiz üzüm ıslah yöntemleri özetlenerek, ıslah yöntemlerindeki songelişmeler hakkında bilgiler verilmiştir.
NEW DEVELOPMENT IN SEEDLESS GRAPE BREEDING
Seedless ness is one of the most important desired characteristics in the varieties of the table grapes and raisins. Furthermore, it is an important feature that increases the marketing chance of the grapes in the direction of consumer demands. Almost all of the raisins that consumed in global and Turkish markets are belong to seedless varieties. In addition that, the demand for seedless varieties in the trade of table grapes has been increasing. For these reasons, obtaining new seedless and coarse table grapes is one of the important aims of the grape breeding studies. In this study, newly registered seedless grape varieties were presented. In addition, seedless grape breeding methods were summarized and information about the recent developments in the breeding methods was given
