Bu nedenle çalışmanın amacını, ürün döngü zamanlarının (cycLe time) azaltılmasıyla, firmaların rekabet avantajı kazanmalarını sağlayan tedarik zincirinin, zamana dayalı performansının ölçülmesi oluşturmaktadır. Bu amaçla öncelikle TAYSAD'a (Taşıt Araçları ve Parça Sanayicileri Derneği) kayıtlı Türk otomotiv yan sanayi firmalarında uygulanabilecek bir model geliştirilmiştir. Uygulama modeli, tedarik zincirinin zamana dayalı performansının bilgi teknolojileri, süreç geliştirme yöntemleri ve bunlann birlikte kullanılması (etkileşim) ile geliştirilebileceğine dayanmaktadır.

Time-Based Performance Measurement of Supply Chain: Application of Turkish Automotive Subsidiary Industries

The importance of supply chain management has been increasing in recent years parallel to the developments occurred in information technologies and business process improvement techniques. SCM has been taken into consideration after ı980 years and seen as a management discipline. This discipline has been also deseribing as a supply chain networks, supply pipeline management, value chain management and a value stream management. All the definitions have a common denominator, SCM is a management philosophy that focuses firrns outside environments and intends integration with the supply chain members. For this reason, the objective of this study is to measure of the supply chain time-based performance with decreasing for product cycle time, which offers fırm's competitive advantage. For this purpose, first off all, the model was developed which can be carry out Turkish automotive subsidiary industries registered of TAYSAD. Practice model is based on developing time-based performance metrics with information technologies, business process improvement methods and interaction effects of those methods.
