Gelecekte okul müdürlerinin gerçekleştirmeleri gereken roller

Küreselleşme, ekonomik, teknolojik ve toplumsal ge- lişmeler ile eğitim alanındaki gelişmeler karşısında müdürlerin geleneksel rollerinin yetersiz kaldığı görül- müştür. Yeni gelişmeler, müdürlerin rollerinin değişi- mine, rol yelpazelerinin çeşitlenmesine ve iş yüklerinin artmasına neden olmuştur. Bu bağlamda yapılan çalış- manın amacı, gelecekte okul müdürlerinin gerçekleştir- meleri gereken rollerin neler olduğunu ortaya koymak- tır. Bu anlamda geleceğin okul müdürlerinden gelişen çağa ayak uydurmaları için, yönetişim uzmanlığı, öğretim liderliği, vizyoner liderlik, sembolik liderlik, değişim uzmanlığı, program geliştirme uzmanlığı ve toplumsal ilişkiler uzmanlığı rollerini gerçekleştirmele- ri beklenmektedir. Müdürler bu rolleri doğru, amacına uygun olarak gerçekleştirdiklerinde bundan okul ve ça- lışanları ile eğitim öğretim süreci olumlu şekilde etkile- nir. Belirtilen rollerin oynanabilmesi belli bir yeterliliği gerektireceğinden, geleceğin müdürlerinin, yönetişim uzmanlığı, öğretim liderliği, vizyoner liderlik, sembo- lik liderlik, değişim uzmanlığı, program geliştirme ve toplumsal ilişkiler uzmanlığı konularında yeterli hale getirilmeleri sağlanmalıdır.

Roles that school principals should conduct in the future

In accordance with globalization, economic, techno- logic and social improvements and as a result of de- velopments in the field of education, traditional roles of school principals have remained inadequate. New developments have caused a change with the roles of principals, increase in their workload work load, di- versing roles. Therefore, this study was carried out to introduce what the school school principals’ roles that they have to realize in the future. For this reason, in order to adopt themselves to changing era, principals of the future are supposed to be expert of governance, instructional leadership, symbolic leadership, instruc- tional leadership, change expert, curriculum designer and social relations experts. When principals perfor- med these roles appropriate to its purpose, it helps school, staff and instructional process to develop. As the roles mentioned here require certain proficiency, school principals should be trained as expert of governance, instructional leadership, symbolic leadership, instruc- tional leadership, change expert, curriculum designer and social relations experts.
