Bazı dane yemlerin kuru madde ve organik maddelerinin rumende parçalanma özellikleri bakımından karşılaştırılması

Bu araştırma ruminant beslemede kullanılan bazı dane yemlerin rumen kuru madde (KM) ve organik madde (OM) parçalanma özellikleri bakımından karşılaştırılması amacıyla düzenlenmiştir. Bu amaçla 45 kg canlı ağırlığındaki rumen kanüllü 3 ergin Ankara keçisi kullanılmıştır. Dane yemler ( mısır, buğday ve arpa) 4, 8, 16, 24 ve 48 saatlerde rumende inkübasyona maruz bırakılmışlardır. Comparison of some grain feeds according to the ruminal degradability characteristics of dry matter and organic matters

The objective of this experiment was to investigate and compare the ruminal degradability characteristics of dry matter (DM) and organic matter (OM) of some grain feeds. Three Angora goats (45 kg live weight) fitted with ruminal cannulas were used. Grain feeds (maize, wheat and barley) were incubated in naylon bags for 4, 8, 16, 24 and 48 hours. In the experiment, interaction between grain feeds and incubation periods were found statistically significant (P<0.01). The difference between at least two grain feeds were numerically significant according to the characteristics initial solubility (a), maximum degradability (a+b), effective degradability (ED); (for k=2, k=5 and k=8) (P<0.01), potential degradability (b) ( valid for DM only) and degradability rate of b (c) (P<0.01). It was found that DM and OM degradability of wheat is concluded in 24 hours and degradability of barley and maize is concluded in 48 hours (P<0,01). According to degradability characteristics of DM and OM, feeds were ranked as wheat > barley > maize.
