HEMŞİRELERİN PROFESYONEL TUTUMLARI İLE BUNU ETKİLEYEN FAKTÖRLERİN İNCELENMESİ

 ÖZET  Amaç: Bu araştırma, hemşirelerin mesleki profesyonel tutumlarını ve bunu etkileyebilecek bazı faktörleri incelemek amacıyla tanımlayıcı ve analitik desende yapıldı. Yöntem: Araştırma Nisan-Mayıs 2010 tarihleri arasında Bolu ili İzzet Baysal Devlet Hastanesi’nde (Köroğlu Birimi) çalışan hemşirelerle gerçekleştirildi. Araştırmanın örneklemini bu birimde çalışan 89 hemşire oluşturdu. Veriler hemşire tanıtım formu ve Meslekte Profesyonel Tutum Envanteri (MPTE) kullanılarak toplandı. Verilerin değerlendirilmesinde ortalama, standart sapma, sayı, yüzdelik ile non-parametrik testlerden Kruskal Wallis Testi ile Mann-Whitney U Testi kullanıldı. Bulgular: Hemşirelerin MPTE toplam puan ortalaması 140.28.01±11.99 (32-160 puan) olarak bulundu. Hemşirelerin eğitim durumu, çalışma süresi, görev şekli, nöbet tutma durumu, meslekten memnuniyet durumu ve bilimsel toplantılara katılma durumu gibi özelliklerinin profesyonel tutumu olumlu yönde etkilediği saptandı. Sonuç: Hemşirelerin profesyonel tutum puanlarının iyi düzeyde olduğu söylenebilir.  Anahtar Kelimeler: Hemşirelik; profesyonel; profesyonel uygulama.   ABSTRACT Investigation of nurses’ professional attitudes and factors ınfluencing these attitudes  Aim: This research was carried out by using descriptive and analytic design to investigate nurses’ professional attitudes and some factors which influence these attitudes.  Methods: This research was performed with regard to nurses working at Bolu Izzet Baysal State Hospital (Köroğlu Unit) between April-May 2010. The sample of this study was 89 nurses working at this unit. Data were collected by using “Nurse Description Form and Professional Attitudes Inventory”. Data were analysed with mean, standart deviation, frequency, percentage and nonparamatric tests including; Kruskall Wallis test, Mann Whitney U test.  Findings: It is determined that the total score was 140.28.01±11.99 (32-160 points). It was found that some characteristics of nurses’ example; education level, working time, shape of the task, night shifts, status of the profession satisfaction and participation at scientific events influenced the Professional attitude positively. Result: Nurses’ professional attitudes inventory score was good-level. Key Words: Nursing; professional; professional practice.
