Hastane Harcamalarının Yerel Kalkınmaya Etkisi

Günümüzde sağlıklı toplum ve nitelikli iş gücü ekonomik büyüme için çok büyük öneme sahiptir. Toplumdaki insanların sağlık düzeyindeki gelişmeler ekonomik gelişmeyi hızlandırmaktadır. Sağlıklı bir iş gücünün gelişiminde en önemli hizmet sağlayıcılar hastaneler olarak karşımıza çıkmaktadır. Hastanelerin ulaşmış olduğu teknolojik ve donanımsal düzey ile hastanelerin bulundukları bölgelerde yapmış oldukları harcamalar, sağladıkları istihdam, ödemiş oldukları vergiler yerel kalkınmayı etkilemektedir. Bu çalışmanın ilk bölümünde ekonomiler için önemli bir kavram olan yerel kalkınmadan bahsedilmiştir. İkinci bölümde hastane harcamaları ve hastane harcamalarının türleri anlatılmıştır. Son bölümde ise hastane harcamalarının yerel kalkınma üzerindeki; istihdam, gelir, vergi ve çarpan etkisi anlatılmıştır. Çalışma daha geniş bir kavram olan sağlık harcamaları bakımından sınırlandırılmış ve sadece hastane harcamalarının yerel kalkınmaya olan etkileri anlatılmıştır. Yapılan geniş literatür incelemesinde sadece Amerika Birleşik Devletleri’nin eyaletlerinde bulunan hastaneler üzerine çalışmalar yapıldığı anlaşılmıştır. Çalışma bu bakımdan literatüre katkı sağlayacaktır. Hastanelerin bulundukları bölgelerde kırsal kalkınmaya istihdam, gelir, vergi ve çarpan bakımından olumlu etkileri olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.

Hospital Expenditures The Effect Of Local Development

Nowadays healthy society and skilled labour play an important role on economy growth. The increasing of health status in society its also push on the economic growth. We can see that one of the most important service area that improve the healthy skill labour are hospitals. Technology and level that hospitals have reach, locations, expenses, providing of employment and the taxes that they are paying brings influence to local development. The first chapter of this study it explains the important of the local development concept in the economy. On the second chapter it explains the spending of hospital and the expenses types they use. The final chapter it explains the influence of expenses of hospital over the local development; employment, income, taxes and multiplier effect. Healthy expenses concept took a large part of this work but it has been limited and only took hospitals expenses part which has big influences on the local development. This research shows that the study took place only at united states province hospitals. İn this way the study will contribute big effect on literature. Finally we can see that the hospitals, rural region development, employes, income, taxes and multiplier effect leading to positive influence.
