Obruk- lar doğal nedenlerle oluşabile- ceği gibi tünel ya da metro inşa- atı gibi mühendislik faaliyetleriya da yeraltı sularının yeryüzüneaşırı miktarlarda çekilmesi gibiinsan kaynaklı nedenlerle deoluşabilir. DEATH DUE TO FALL INTO SINKHOLE IN THE PAVEMENT: A CASE REPORT
A sinkhole is a depression orhole in thick layers of limestonecaused by some form of collapsewhich is facilitated by ground- water flow. Sinkholes are foundworldwide. Sinkholes may oc- cur due to natural causes besidethey may also occur with thehuman-induced causes such asexcessive consumption of thegroundwater or engineering ac- tivities such as tunnels or under- ground constructions. In this ar- ticle, it is presented a case whichdied after falling into a sinkholethat was opened suddenly in thepavement.
