Araştırmanın hipotez- leri Isparta ve Burdur illerindeki devlet üniversitelerinde görev yapan toplam 168 akademisyen üzerinde Hayes’in (2012) seri çoklu aracılık modelleri kullanılarak test edilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda içsel motivasyon ile öznel iyi oluş arasındaki ilişkide iş becerikliliği ve akış deneyiminin birlikte anlamlı etkisinin mevcut olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Aracı değişkenlerin etkileri ayrı ayrı incelendiğinde ise akış de- neyiminin anlamlı aracılık etkisi görülmesine rağmen, iş becerikliliğinin anlamlı aracılık etkisi görülmemiştir.

THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN INTRINSIC MOTIVATION AND SUBJECTIVE WELL-BEING: SERIAL MEDIATING ROLE OF JOB CRAFTING AND FLOW AT WORK

The purpose of this study is to investigate serial mediating roles of job crafting and flow at work in the relation of intrinsic motivation and subjective well-being. The hypothe- sises of research are tested on a total of 168 academics working in state universities in Isparta and Burdur provinces by using Hayes’s (2012) serial multiple mediation model. As a result of the research, it is found that job crafting and flow at work were the serial mediators in the relation of intrinsic motivation and subjective well-being. When the effects of the mediator variables were examined separately, result indicated that flow at work alone had significant mediating effect while there was no effect of job crafting.
