Elastofibroma dorsi
Lezyon total eksize edildi. Elastofibroma dorsi tanısı histopatolojik olarak doğrulandı. Yaşlı kadınlarda periskapular bölgede lokalize, yumuşak doku tümörlerinin ayırıcı tanısında elastofibroma dorsi olası tanı olarak akılda tutulmalıdır.
Elastofibroma dorsi: A case report
Elastofibroma dorsi is a rare soft tissue mass, probably of reactive nature. The lesion is located near the inferior margin of the scapula or between the inferior part of scapula and chest wall in elderly women. A 64-year-old woman is presented with a complaint of backache in this report. On physical examination nontender and solid mass was detected in the inferior of the right scapula. Magnetic resonance imaging showed subscapular tumoral mass which had the characteristic signal intensity and contrast enhancement pattern of elastofibroma dorsi. The lesion was totaly excised. The diagnosis of elastofibroma dorsi was confirmed by histopatologic examination. In differential diagnosis of the soft tissue tumors located at the periscapular region in elderly woman elastofibroma dorsi should be considered as a likely diagnosis.
