“İYİ OLUŞUN MANEVİYAT ENDEKSİ ÖLÇEĞİ”NİN UYARLANMASI

Maneviyat insanın zihinsel, sosyal ve duygusal yönü ile ilişkili bir kavram olmanın yanında kişiye güç veren, moral ve motivasyon kaynağı olarak da düşünülmektedir. Bu çalışmada, “iyi oluşun maneviyat İndeksi ölçeği’nin Türkçeye uyarlanması yapılmıştır. Bu ölçek bireylerin iyi oluşunda manevi yönelim düzeyini belirlemeye yönelik hazırlanmıştır. Ölçeğin uyarlanması çalışmasında ölçek orijinal formu olan İngilizceden Türkçeye çevrilmiştir. Daha sonra ise Türkçe formlar tekrar İngilizceye çevrilerek iki formun tutarlılığı dil ve gramer açısından incelenmiştir. Ölçeğin dilsel eşdeğerliliğiyle ilgili olarak 35 kişiye Türkçe ve İngilizce orijinal hali bir hafta arayla uygulanmıştır. Ölçüt geçerliliği ile ilgili olarak 50 yetişkine ölçek uygulanmıştır. İyi oluşun maneviyat İndeksi ölçeğinin yapı geçerliğini sınamak için doğrulayıcı faktör analizi için 319 kişiye ölçek uygulanmış ve Toparlanma Gücü ölçeği ile arasındaki korelasyona bakılmıştır (,515). Elde edilen modelin uyum endekslerinin uygun olduğu saptanmıştır Modelin uyum indeksleri incelendiğinde ölçeğin iki boyutlu modelinin kabul edilebilir düzeyde uyum verdiği görülmüştür (x2(53,N=319)= 135.759,p

ADAPTING THE SPIRITUALITY INDEX OF WELL-BEING

Spirituality Index of Well-being: A validity and reliability study......... Spirituality is associated with social, mental and emotional aspects of human being as well as it is a source of motivation that empowers human being. The purpose of this study was to adapt Spirituality Index of Well-Being developed by Daleman and Frey (2004) into Turkish and to examine its reliability and validity. This scale was designed to measure the effect of spirituality on subjective well-being. SIWB used in this research was a 12-item likert type with 5 point response format. This study was conducted in three phases with 404 university students . The psychometric properties of the scale were examined language equivalence, criterian related validity, internal consistency and confirmatory factor analysis.The results of confirmatory factor analyses demonsrated that two factor structure of the Spirituality Index of Well-Being validated. The confirmatory factor analysis found the following fit indices::(değerleri yazalım). To test concurrent validity, positive correlations were found between Spirituality Index of Well-Being and Resilience Scale.The cronbach's alpha for the total scale .82 , for the self-efficacy subscale .83 ,and life scheme life scale.82 .Considering reliability and validity study results,Spirituality Index of Well-Being is valid and reliable instrument.
