Girişimcilik Yetkinliklerinin İşletme Performansına Etkileri

Yetkinlik temelli yönetim ve uygulamalara geçişin hızla artması ile birlikte, bir toplumun ekonomisinişekillendirmede önemli bir role sahip olan girişimcinin sahip olduğu yetkinliklerinin geliştirilmesi, işletmelerinana önceliklerinden biri haline gelmiştir. Girişimcilik yetkinliklerine olan ilgi özellikle ayakta kalan vebüyümekte olan girişimlerin performansının arkasındaki nedenlerin ve etkilerin önem kazanmasından ötürügiderek artmaktadır. Girişimci yetkinlik kavramı; girişimcilik kavramı ve yetkinlik kavramının birlikteiçselleştirildiği bir kavramdır. Ancak literatürdeki araştırmalar açısından oldukça yeni ve sınırlı çalışmaya konuolduğu görülmektedir.Bu çalışmada girişimcilik yetkinliklerinin işletme performansına etkilerini ortaya koyarak, yetkinlikleringeliştirilmesi konusunda farkındalık oluşturmak amaçlanmıştır. Yetkinlik yaklaşımına dayalı geliştirilen teorikbir model çerçevesinde, fırsat, örgütlenme, ilişki, bağlılık (taahhüt) yetkinlikleri ve stratejik ve kavramsalyetkinlikler olmak üzere altı grup girişimcilik yetkinliği ile işletmelerin performansı ilişkisinin hipotezlerle testedilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bunun için Konya İli sınırlarında yer alan işletmelerin sahibi girişimcilere yönelik,girişimcilik yetkinlikleri ve işletme performasını ölçen sorulardan oluşan anketler ulaştırılmıştır. Firma sahibigirişimcilerden geri dönüşü sağlanan 400 anketten 383 adedi değerlendirmeye tabi tutulmuştur. Toplananveriler üzerinden yapılan istatistiksel analizlerden SpearmanRho Korelasyon Analizi ve Basit DoğrusalRegresyon Analizi sonuçlarına göre, girişimcilik yetkinliğinin ve alt boyutlarının (fırsat yetkinlikleri,organizasyon yetkinlikleri, ilişki yetkinlikleri, bağlılık (taahhüt) yetkinlikleri, stratejik yetkinlikler vekavramsal yetkinlikler) işletme performansı üzerinde pozitif bir etkiye sahip olduğu belirlenmiştir.

The Effects Of Entrepreneurship Competencies On Business Performance

With the rapid increase of transition to competence based management and practices, developmentof the competences of the entrepreneur, who has a key role in shaping a country’s economy, has become oneof the main priorities of enterprises. The interest in entrepreneurship competencies is increasing, especiallybecause of the reasons and effects behind the performance of surviving and growing enterprises. The conceptof entrepreneurial competence is a concept that the concept of entrepreneurship and the concept of competenceare internalized together. However, it is seen that the researches are relatively new and limited in the literature.In this study, it is aimed to create awareness on the development of competencies by revealing the effects ofthe entrepreneurship competencies on business performance. The relationship between performance of firmsand six groups of entrepreneurship competency which are opportunity, organizational, relationship,commitment, strategic and conceptual competencies were aimed testing through hypotheses within theframework of a theoretical model developed based on competency approach. For this aim, questionnairescomprising of items that measure entrepreneurship competencies and firm performance were distributed toentrepreneurs who own firms operating in Konya province. 383 of 400 questionnaires, which were returnedfrom the company owner entrepreneurs were evaluated. According to the results of SpearmanRho CorrelationAnalysis and Simple Linear Regression Analysis from the statistical analysis made on the collected data, hasbeen determined to have a positive effect entrepreneurial competence and its sub-dimensions (opportunitycompetencies, organizational competencies, relationship competencies, commitment competencies, strategiccompetencies and conceptual competencies) on business performance.
