COVID-19 Kısıtlamalarının Bireylerin Sosyo-Ekonomik Yaşamları Üzerine Etkileri

Aralık 2019’da Çin’in Wuhan kentinde ani olarak ortaya çıkan ve kısa zamanda tüm dünyaya yayılan Covid-19 virüsünün yayılım hızını azaltmak için hükümetler insanlar arasında teması azaltmaya yönelik bir takım kısıtlayıcı önlemler almaktadırlar. Alınan bu kısıtlayıcı önlemler ile salgına karşı kişilerin kendi kendilerini izole etmeleri, başta turizm ve hizmet sektörleri olmak üzere birçok sektörü olumsuz etkilemektedir. Bu kısıtlayıcı önlemler ve kişisel izolasyon, birçok sektörde işletmelerin kapanmasına, tedarik zinciri kesintilerine, iş gücü kaybına ve insanların işlerini kaybetmelerine neden olmaktadır. Bu çalışmanın amacı, COVID-19 salgını sırasında Türkiye cumhuriyeti hükümeti tarafından alınan kısıtlayıcı önlemlerin bireylerin sosyo-ekonomik yaşamları üzerinde ne tür bir etki yaptığını ortaya koymaktır. Çalışmanın sonuçları devam etmekte olan salgın ile ilgili kısıtlamaların uygulanması bakımından önem arz etmektedir.Araştırma verileri, Gaziantep Üniversitesi Sosyal ve Beşeri Bilimler Etik Kurulu'nun 27.04.2021 tarih ve 20 sayılı kararı ile etik kurul onayı alındıktan sonra 30 Nisan-18 Mayıs 2021 tarihleri arasında online anket yöntemi ile toplanmıştır. Verilerin toplanmasında kartopu örnekleme yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Çevrimiçi anket 472 kişi tarafından yanıtlandı. Dikkatlice cevaplanmadığı düşünülen 79 anket değerlendirme dışı bırakılarak 393 anket değerlendirmeye alındı. Toplanan veriler SPSS.24 istatistiksel analiz programı aracılığıyla test edilmiştir. İki grup arasındaki farkları analiz etmek için Mann Whitney U testi ve ikiden fazla grup arasındaki farkları analiz etmek için Kruskal-Wallis testi kullanılmıştır. Analiz sonrasında yaş, cinsiyet ve yerleşim yeri değişkenleri ile sosyo-ekonomik etki değişkeni arasında anlamlı bir ilişki olduğu gözlemlenmiştir.

The Effects of COVID-19 Restrictions on Individuals' Socio-Economic Lives

To reduce the rate of spread of the Covid-19 virus, which emerged suddenly in Wuhan, China in December 2019 and spread all over the world in a short time, governments have taken some restrictive measures to reduce contact between people. With these restrictive measures taken, people's self-isolation against the epidemic negatively have affected many sectors, especially the tourism and service sectors. These restrictive measures and personal isolation have caused business closures, supply chain disruptions, loss of workforce, and people losing their jobs in many sectors. The purpose of this study is to reveal that restrictive measures taken by the Turkey republic Covid-19 during an outbreak have what kind of effects on the socio- economic life of individuals. The results of the study are important in terms of the implementation of restrictions on the ongoing epidemic. The research data were collected by the online questionnaire method between April 30 and May 18, 2021, after the approval of the ethics committee with the decision of the Social and Human Sciences Ethics Committee of Gaziantep University, dated 27.04.2021 and numbered 20. The Snowball sampling method was used to collect the data. The online questionnaire was answered by 472 people. 79 questionnaires, which were thought not to be answered carefully, were excluded from the evaluation and 393 questionnaires were evaluated. The collected data have tested through the SPSS.24 statistical analysis program. The Mann Whitney U test has used to analyze the differences between the two groups, and the Kruskal-Wallis test has used to analyze the differences between more than two groups. After the analysis, it has observed that there has been a significant relationship between the variables of age, gender, and place of residence, and the socio-economic impact variable.
