Tam yükte çalışan indirekt püskürtmeli bir dizel motorunda, dizel ve dizel-etanol yakıt karışımlarının performans ve emisyon değişimlerine etkisi

Etanol, yenilenebilir bir yakıt olup tarımsal fermentasyon içerisinde farklı yöntemlerle üretilir. Yenilenebilir enerji kaynaklarından olmasından dolayı, günümüzde, içten yanmalı motorlarda direkt yakıt olarak ve karışım halinde kullanılmaktadır. Bu araştırmada, İndirekt Püskürtmeli Dizel Motorunda (IDI) tam yükte dizel ile %10 oranlarında etanol-dizel karışımı yakıt olarak kullanıldı. Çalışmalarda, motor performansı (güç, tork, yakıt tüketimi) ve emisyonlar (O2, CO, CO2, NOx, SO2ve % duman koyuluğu) ile ilgili değişimler incelendi. Araştırma sonucunda, dizel yakıtına %10 oranında etanol ilave edilmesi ile motor gücünde ve torkunda düşüşler, yakıt tüketim miktarında da azalmalar meydana gelmiştir. Bunun yanında O2 artar iken, NOx ve CO emisyonları kısmen, CO2, SO2 ve duman emisyonlarında ise oldukça fazla oranlarda azalmalar tespit edilmiştir.

Effects of diesel and diesel/ethanol fuel mixtures to performance and emissions changes in IDI at maximum load

The ethanol is a renewable fuel, and can be produced with different methods in agricultural fermentation. Because it is from renewable energy resources, the ethanol has been used in the internal combustion engines as a direct fuel or a mixture nowadays. In this research, ethanol/diesel (10/90 ratio) mixture has been used at maximum load in IDI. In the study, engine performance values such as power, torque, and specific fuel consumption and emissions such as O2, CO, have been investigated. At the end of the research, it is shown for the ethanol/diesel mixture that engine power, torque, and specific fuel consumption have decreased. In addition, O2 emission has increased while NOx, CO -just a little-, CO2, SO2, and smoke level -a good deal- emissions have decreased.
